Mt. Hood Hamlet Bed and Breakfast
Mt Hood Hamlet B&B is ideally located between the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and the top of Mt. Hood. We are so close to the mountain it feels you could reach right out and touch it! At 11,245 feet, Mt. Hood is the tallest volcano in Oregon, and one of the most accessible in the world to a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities and sightseeing. The lower mountain regions are ablaze with rhododendrons and other wild flowers, peaking in June and July. There are miles of trails into wildflower meadows, lakes, past waterfalls and to high points with new vistas of many of the Pacific Northwest's major peaks. Wildlife includes many bird species, deer, elk and other small animals. The Hood River valley produces abundant fruit and shares the new wine appellation of "The Columbia Gorge Wine Area". We are only minutes from white water rafting, windsurfing and horseback riding. Music, drama and art are a large part of our community, with many festivals throughout the year.
