The Husum Riverside B&B is located on the site of the historic Husum Hotel established at the turn of the century. The brick cold house (over 100 yrs old) remains and add old world charm to the large, brick outdoor patio and garden. View the lovely established european style garden paths, pond, and huge old growth trees. Four of the rooms are european styled with antiques and vintage decor. The African Queen is a suite with a whirlpool spa for two, the French Quarter will invoke romance in any couple, the Provance room with its floral accents will induce comfort, and the Renaissance Room is old world elegance plus handicapped accessible. A fifth room is being added and will be "french cottage" styled. We serve a huge, european style breakfast buffet with an assortment of fresh fruits, yogurts and granola, an array of freshly baked gourmet quiches, homemade pastries, fresh breads, lox, platters of italian meats, french cheeses, and more plus gourmet, fresh roasted coffee. The buffet is served in our large, french country-styled fully appointed commercial kitchen. We can satisfy any diet restriction or desire and we aim to do just that. We are located in the beautiful, rural white salmon river valley north of White Salmon with plenty of wild life, birds and adjacent to the Husum falls. The historic Welton trail is a few hundred yards away and a main kayak launch site is across the street. Wet Planet and River Drifters are two of our neighbors. Our large outdoor patio, with its surrounding gardens, flowering vines, wrought iron furniture, and brick flooring is available and perfect for hosting your wedding parties or other special events. We have catering services and plan to reopen our outdoor cafe next year (2007). Please come and visit us!
